Eating correctly for a teenage male can be very difficult. In July 2007, my diet was unbalanced and I was forty pounds overweight according to my pediatrician. I was constantly getting sick, causing me to miss a lot of school. Unlike most guys my age, my metabolism was slow and I never had much energy. I decided after sixteen years of life like this, that it was time to make a change.

My parents and I decided to do the RESET. Being the "carbaholic" that I was, I couldn't even finish five days of the RESET. I gradually excelled into better eating by drinking two recommended low-glycemic shakes, a few servings of fruit and vegetables plus one home-cooked meal for dinner. I became more consistent with taking my supplements and essential fatty acids everyday. I also began training with the athletic trainer at my school. Between a healthy new diet and working out, I began to see the weight fall off instantly. In nine months I went from being 5'10", weighing 232 pounds to 179 pounds. I have also been able to increase my muscle mass significantly through working out and eating a balanced low-glycemic diet.

Along with the weight I lost my health improved dramatically. I only missed a half day of school opposed to the thirteen days I missed the year before.

I am greatly appreciative of the benefits of The Live Well Program. I continue to drink a shake for breakfast every day, even on vacation, along with taking my vitamins and supplements. This has helped me change my life for the better - forever.
